My friend Kim is raising Alpacas to process the fleece for wool threads and such. I was finally able to go over to her house and see these beauties, the silver one is gorgeous. I'm hoping to be the first to try out her new threads. It's just starting to snow as you can see. They were not bothered in the least or by me. Although there is another tan one standing behind the black one, he or she was too busy eating.

Aren't alpacas the cutest? I think it would be so fun to have a quilt made with alpaca wool batting *s*
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos! I hope you get to try the thread too :-) Does she name these dudes? They are cute!
