No Civil War blocks here,

just my wildlife and some projects I'm working on. Woke up this morning and opened the back door, and there are some of the Big Horns asleep, so funny to see them resting their heads on the gound, or tucked inside their thighs. They seem very content. It was warm and the snow was melting, and then a snow storm moved in dropping several inches of snow. The first project in progress is a wool tote made from a wool jumper from the thrift store, the white plaid jumper shows how it starts out. Those are green stems for flowers that I am appliqueing. Then a wool penny rug, and then auditioning the binding and backing for Folklore, thinking of using something in a little darker shade for the backing.

  1. Oh I love the color you have for the Folklore binding. Every time I see this quilt I wish I would have done the bom - I will have to wait for it to come out in book form but it sure it lovely.
