A Penny Saved and Deer
Here's a pic of A penny Saved in the new Fons and Porter, I'm thrilled with the article, wish my house looked that good.
And a pic of a doe and her fawn, they became separated a week ago for several days after a fox scared the fawn, the mother waited for two days on our property for her return and finally she did. I think she might have gotten a spanking for running off.

I just can hardly wait for the magazine to be on store shelves . . I've checked twice already just to see if they might have put it up early *s* So glad Mama and Baby are back together again.
ReplyDeletePoor little fawn.Must have scare the bajabbers out of both of them. There's an old cougar playing havoc with the deer community in our neighborhood. Haven't seen the little fawns around for awhile--I hope they are just hiding out and nothing worse. But such is the law of nature.
ReplyDeleteSuch a dear (oops, pardon the pun) of the doe and fawn! Love your magazine write-up!

Love, love, love that Quilt! Great work, I adore sewing circles. Kinda mimics my life of running in... oh, never mind. I have deer pics to post, too. They've been enjoying my daylilies as snacks the last few evenings, then I 'caught' them with my camera! Busted.
ReplyDeleteCongrads! I finnaly rec'd my copy! I quickly went throught the magazine to see it. I had read so much about it on the group. I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteTaking this opportunity to wish you a VERY belated congratulations on having your quilt in the magazine. I really looks great! Such a simple concept for the design, and so stunning when executed brilliantly as you have done. By the way, I love having a current picture of you so I really know what you look like now LOL! You kept teasing us for so long with those little girl pictures.
