Better without the pins

Here's the finished second block of Birds of a Feather, looks so much better without the pins, need to reorder me some Roxanne's glue. Combination again of wool and cotton and flannel that looks so much like wool, and not to forget the wildlife, a pic of a Marmot, some people up here call them Groundchucks and shot them on site. They den in the winter and come out in the spring to eat grasses, don't understand why people need to kill them.

  2. Cute, cute, cute marmot! Your BOAF is really coming along nicely. Do you turn under the edges of the flannel?

  3. The block looks lovely! I can't get over as quickly you polish those off! As for the Roxane glue, have you considered Elmers diluted? I often think that it's the same thing but less concentrated. Happy quilting!

So that's what a marmot looks like. We have them a few places in California apparently. My DH and I were at one time considering going camping to the sequoias and it said in this book we have to keep them away from your vehicles because for some reason they like to chew the wiring and hoses in cars! This book recommended that you barricade the underside of your car to keep them out! Weird!
