Tom Miner

Thought I would show a pic of the sheer beauty of where Jim and I live. This is at the end of the road, so to speak, of Tom Miner Creek Rd, looking back towards Yellowstone National Park and a private ranch. The ranch where my future cabin studio originally came from, it was an old bunk house.

All of this area is so historical, from old mining sites, one room school houses that have been preserved. The name Tom Miner came from a settler who had the first toll booth into Yellowstone thru Yankee Jim canyon, we live just above the canyon, and he charged the buggies a toll on his road. Now as you travel the highway, you can still see part of his road that looks beyond treacherous, especially for those horse and buggy days.
