Machine quilting
Wonder if I'm the only quilter who finds machine quilting the least favorite part of quilting, probably why I love prim so much, more hand work and hand quilting. That's what I've been doing all day, all day and only have half a quilt done, I dislike this alot. I'll show you a pic or two of Jim's little Christmas gifts to me, one is a collection of glass animals stamped with occupied Japan, his Father bought them all for his Mom. And the other is his funny gift of a trophy deer since I just hate hunting.

Nope, girlfriend, you're not the only one! LOL I'm not very good at machine quilting, and I get all scrunched up trying to machine quilt, so that's one of the reasons I have more 'flimsies' than quilts! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh Jim's deer trophy head to you is sooo funny! Leave it to Jim to think of that!
ReplyDeleteThe little glass animals are so cute! I want to see the chicken (?) one in the back better - that one look really cool!
That trophy just cracks me up *s* It you must have a trophy, this is the perfect one.
ReplyDeletewhy don't you consider sending your flimsies out to be quilted?? why spend time doing the part of quilting that you don't love? there are a lot of "toppers" in our guild. they piece a top, send it out, and move on.
ReplyDeleteBTW, i love your post on the meaning of life. I think we should all leave a few UFOs and WIPs behind. It's sort of like organ donors for quilters
dID YOU MAKE HIM THAT DEER HEAD ? iT LOOKS SO COOL !!!
