Weekend stuff

Snowy weather yesterday, two days of rain and snow so got a little reading done, a pic of my new book from Linda Brannock, Farewell to Miss Jump, love this wool mat with the rickrack. My progress so far on the Collector Series from Jan Patek. And then one of our furry friends, a baby Marmot, he's watching me wash window screens, this was from last weekend when the weather was much nicer.
And then a pic of the Yellowstone River from the bridge, it's at flood stage with all the snow melting and the recents rains.

Marvin and yet another purse

Think I must be in the purse making business, yet another one for a little girl who just loves purple. Can you tell, even a purple bear.


And then poor Marvin, looking good one day and the next he's bitten by a rattler and has this drain in his face and had to stay two days at the vet. He's back to normal, but sure he's thinking what can happen next. He's not keen on going outside too much anymore.

The Collector Series is still available on Jan Patek's website, I bought mine a year or so ago on Ebay.

The next picture is my wonderful win from Minick and Simpson, great pattern, love the horses and a bag of wonderful fabric scraps.

Some prim, a cat, snow and a purse

Trying to get back to what normal is for us, waiting on a cash settlement on the car and Jim is doing better, some days, not so much. So back to the every life things, my beautiful Bailey asleep in the window.

My first love in the quilting frame of things, needle turn applique with those dark vintage colored fabrics, The Collector Series from Brannock & Patek.

A spring snow storm that dropped inches and inches of snow overnight last week and now all gone and beautiful outside.

And a purse I made for a friend, way too bright for me, added some wool applique and she was a happy lady.
