Dahlia...

 
I finished the Dahlia Wall Hanging...
a small easy project to hand quilt with linen thread.

 
I used three strands of DMC floss
for the embroidery around the flowers.

 
Once again the design is from Jan Patek's
Twixt Garden Gates, 1977.

    The embroidery adds so much. It looks so charming. I didn't know Jan Patek had patterns from that long ago. What else did I miss?
