2017 Montana Fires

Over 760,000 acres of land have burned so far
 in Montana this summer...
A catastrophic natural disaster with no end in sight.

It breaks my heart...

  1. I look at the Inci news and then at the map-it seems like all the places I went last year are on fire-So horrible.

  6. This video makes my heart ache with sorrow for all of the amazing wildlife suffering there... I fell in love with Montana in July 1990 on an incredibly beautiful road trip with my sister and my son. We visited my nephew in Whitefish and he took us on a drive through Glacier Park along the "Going to the Sun" road. The snow was still 2-3 feet deep at the summit and there were so many beautiful animals along the way. I pray for the firefighters and wildlife that the fires are all controlled very soon and what is left can begin anew.

  7. I'm in tears. It's very bad in our area as well. I do hope you're safe and have a good exit plan if need be.
    Take Care❤️

  8. The west is having a devastating fire season this year. Ours started early in B.C. And they are saying some may last until next Spring. They keep saying we'll get rain and it either doesn't show up or rains where there are no fires. Our air quality is bad not not as bad as other areas.

Hoping this comes to an end soon, feel for the animals, the land and all the people who have lost so much.

  9. I have been thinking of you and praying for all the wildlife in the path of destruction. I have sent kennel quilts to Houston and will for Irma as well, but I feel helpless when it comes to the plight of our wild creatures.

  11. I am overwhelmed in my heart at all of the fires, hurricanes and just today the earthquake and tsunami in Mexico. I feel so deeply for all who are affected, human & animals alike. There is no way to stop these things from occurring, as nature is commander of all. (Except if fires are started by humans of course!) We can only send comforting and loving thoughts out to those in dire need after the disasters, and if able to help do so.

  12. How heartbreaking -- all the loss. And the photographs of the fires are just so frightening. I think of the poor animals who don't have a clue what's happening. It's so sad. I hope you are in a safe place, Nancy.

  13. I have been praying for rain for your state. This so sad and really not much coverage on news. With all the rain in the southern parts of our country, it is hard to think your state is parched. Thinking of you and all your animal friends. Be safe.
