Heart'n Hands is ready to have the binding sewn on...
You'll have to wait to see which fabric I decided to use.
I do appreciate all your comments and suggestions on the fabric choices.
The Marriage Pen Wiper Rug is all ready to be stitched to the backing.
Then I will add the embroidery stitching to the center and the pennies.
I hope you can see how time worn the rug looks.
These design and kits are from Cee Rafuse of Early Style Penny Rugs
and can be found in her Etsy shop.
The Pen Wiper Rug looks very very old!!! Wow~
ReplyDeleteI like the colors in the Heart n Hands penny rug.
ReplyDeleteThey are both beautiful rugs and they look time worn to me, so I can imagine how much more, in person. I want to do a few of the mats from the book.
