Primitive Wool Pocket

I needed to make a door hanger or wool pocket for a swap, so I stitched this after seeing inspiration on Pinterest.  Black wool is 5" x 10" with appliqued wool circles and stars.  The stars are not appliqued, I whip stitched the edges and left them to hang loose.  Inserted a homespun cotton inside the wool pocket for the lining.

I posted links on the sidebar to my Pinterest and Etsy sites.
Baby, it's cold outside.

  1. I like how that came out and how you used the pins to hold the stars.

  6. I never should have gone to your Pinterest boards. We must have similar taste in food because I spent waaaaaaay too much time checking out your pinned recipes and repinning many of them. Only time limit made me stop and get going on my laundry =)
