Winter Spirit

Y'all were commenting on this quilt, here's a pic of the quilt that Bailey was laying on from the last post.  Winter Spirit, 2002, from Brannock and Patek.  I love this quilt, the colors, the design, can't remember how long it took me to stitch it, needleturn applique, so I'm sure it was a long time.  It's on my old bed upstairs.  I had enlarged the quilt by adding the triangle borders to fit my double bed.

  2. Oh, Nancy! Wonderful quilt. I have all the blocks cut out but ran into a little problem with the first block. It is still waiting for attention.

You must have spent many hours stitching.

  6. I smile every time I see you post something by Patek. I LOVE this prim and anything she does. Thank you for sharing. Are you watching the Bible quilt on Ebay? I already did the quilt once but I'm not sure I can pass it up again. :)

  8. I have all the blocks finished for that quilt. They have been waiting for attention for three or four years. I love the finished quilt and don't know why I haven't finished it. I've made several Jan Patek quilts and have quite a collection of her older fabrics which I just love.
