Estate Sale & actually quilted something for me

Finally finished making a journal cover for a journal of the quilts I have made in the past and ones for sale, also pics of hats and purses that have sold.

Went to an estate sale the last two days, think the first day I spent more time there than at the clinic. It was just around the corner, the lady was a horder, a crafter, quilter, with very good taste. that should be said of all quilters. Anyway, Picked up a wool coat, and white wool fabric for just a few dollars, can see either one being turned into a purse, quilt or hat. And then the one purchase I really had to think about, the fur shawl, it's vintage with pockets, so will make several great purses with a funky look, someone had to buy it, and it was only $15.
And then more zippers for my zipper quilt, porcupine quills for some hats and then beautiful fly fishing feathers for what, maybe another feather quilt or I will use as embellishments.

  1. I have some of the fabric with the red & black zigzags. It sure makes good prim style birds.

  5. I've been wondering where you were since you hadn't posted in two weeks. What a lucky girl you were to have a two-day estate sale so close to where you work - and such wonderful purchases! Anxious to see what you do with your treasures.
