THE BEGINNING OF A PURSE & WILDLIFE OF COURSE
Here's the beginning of the wool purse I'm making, hard to make that first cut thru such beautiful fabric. It will be more of a mail bag style, long and a long strap.
I am hand quilting it first and was outside Saturday doing that when the Big horns, all females and babies came along and decided to lounge with me. It was quite a moment to be able to sew and hear them chopping the grass or trying to rub their winter coat off by rubbing the body against the tree trunks. We were all quite content.

That fabric is beautiful. I can see why it would be hard to cut into. Lovely sewing group you had with you!
ReplyDeleteThe fabric for your bag is beautiful, it's going to be a very pretty bag when you're done for sure. Those big horns are amazing, that's cool how they shed their winter coats like that. How cool to see nature close up like that.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the finished bag. The fabric is beautiful! And thank you for taking your camera with you when you go outside. I love the animal pictures.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy! I love to see you living with your wildlife...so pretty. Gorgeous bag...wow, I am sure that fabric was hard to cut into! Hope you and Jim are doing OK.
