A COPY BOOK

I MADE THIS FOR THE WINNER OF OUR SUE SPARGO'S CHALLENGE. IT'S FROM MAGGIE BONANOMI'S FABULOUS PRIM BOOK, "WITH THESE HANDS", SIMPLE PROJECT AND THEN I CHANGED THE FRONT DESIGN TO A SUE SPARGO DESIGN.

A COPY BOOK IS THE SAME THING AS WHAT WE CALL A NOTEBOOK OR A JOURNAL, THE COPY BOOK NAME GOES BACK TO THE 19TH CENTURY WHEN THEY USED THEM TO COPY THEIR LETTERWRITING AND THEN PER MAGGIE, BECAME A PLACE TO RECORD ONE'S THOUGHTS OR DRAWINGS, SO A NICE PROJECT TO MAKE FOR YOUR QUILT DESIGNS AND PRIVATE THOUGHTS, VERSES YOU LOVE.

THIS VERSE WAS IN MAGGIE'S BOOK, BY LAURA INGALLS WILDER,
IT IS THE SIMPLE THINGS OF LIFE THAT MAKE LIVING WORTHWHILE,
THE SWEET FUNDAMENTAL THINGS SUCH AS LOVE AND DUTY, WORK AND REST,
AND LIVING CLOSE TO NATURE.
