so far, I decided to restart my wool Birds of a Feather, adding the three squares under the first block. I continue to use only my applique method since I want to keep the depth of the wool evident.

And in the new Country Living magazine, this creative use of zippers by designer, Sandy Stone, in making throws with only zippers sewed together.
I love the idea of using the rug hooking book as a source for folk art motifs . . . I can't draw a straight line with a ruler!

I am very attracted to that prairie sweets pattern and I have seen that handbag pattern in the store - it looks fun too. Glad to see your Birds quilt.
