have wonderful design walls, I have my closet doors that Calico Cat asked about. I either hang batting to pin my work to or just hang the quilt from the string with clothes pins to photograph and or get ideas. Then it all comes down if we need to get in that closet.
Looks and sounds like a perfect solution -- and one I should probably copy. I lay blocks on the floor and hope for the best.
