Dogwood Rose Birds

 

Three more blocks finished for Sue's Bird Dance.

The turquoise circles on the wing are velvet.

I'm using Presto Sheer that Sue recommends and makes it

easier to handle and applique the velvet.



 

Such bright fun colors.

 

I like how the background wool has

an overlay of linen fabric and ric-rac.

 

Sue's 2017 BOM is called Fresh Cut and is a quilt

of bright bold colors on a back wool background.

Vases brimming with flowers.

I have a gift certificate so I couldn't sign up fast enough.
