Collector Series and Traffic

I do love this block that I finished from the Collector Series, something about baskets and just the simple outline of a heart.  All that applique speaks prim.
Traffic, just as I'm leaving the property.  The sheep are enjoying the early green grass even with some snow still on the ground.
I know, I made you all move.
I have lots of problems with chipmunks and squirrels taking all the seed from the birds no matter where I put it.   I saw this on Pinterest, spread peanut butter on the empty roll from toilet paper.  They put it on a branch, but not wanting the squirrels to be able to get to it, I strung it on a thin rope and the birds love it.  Now if a squirrel learns how to tightrope, I'll be impressed.  And it won't bother me when a bear takes a piece of it.

  1. Love LOVE the Prim basket - Thanks for sharing it.
The views are spectacular as are the sheep.
I've seen so many clever anti squirrel contraptions - sometimes simple is best - looking forward to a tight rope picture. I bet they can do it...

  2. I really love that block, simplicity is sometimes the best.
What a fun traffic jam, that I could live with, lol.
And your see trick is a great idea, though we don't have too much problem with the squirrels, the feeder is in a bush with large thorns, so if they are hardy enough to get through that, they can have some seed.

You have become part of each day. I have been reading your blog since before Jim passed away. I envision you sitting in your beautiful surroundings blessed by nature. The animals, the trees, the mountains! What a wonderful spot to follow your dreams. I love seeing what you are working on. God bless you each day. I wish Minnesota weren't so far away or I would drop by and spend an afternoon with you...sandi

  7. We love your animal photos, I think every squirrel in the world would somehow figure out how to get the food. Here they tight walk across all the power lines.
