Block one is done for now, will wait on the bullion stitch when I have the correct needle for the linen thread.
Since the house has a new red roof, I'm auditioning paint for the house trim, a real barn red. Jim had picked it out and I only bought a pint until I'm sure, so I just painted the bench. I like it. Then friends will come over when I decide and buy the paint and we'll
get down and dirty, and paint. Added note, guess it would have helped to say the house is mud brown, dark brown, the house colors are suppose to blend in with the landscape, natural colors, guess they didn't think about winter.
