Stingray Migration
Progress
Life does go on, one more block to finish the Pink elephants and then will machine quilt it, and add the cart pulls out of yarn I think with a big black bead. Have you seen these two new books out, just love the Valentine quilt and the William Morris applique looks stunning. Quilt Mania mag has Jubilee by Jan Patek on the cover, I am being prodded into making this quilt by my group.

KT
This is KT, she was a Montana cat, she found us over 16 years ago. We had bought the property while still living in Texas and came up here to work on the house, I was mopping the kitchen floor with the back door open when in walked this skinny cat, knocked over the mop bucket and tried to drink the soapy water. The renters had left her behind. Off I went to buy cat food, litter, and a cat carrier for the long ride home to Texas. She lived inside in Texas for a year until we made the big move, she was fearless, taking on rattle snakes or whatever. She aged, losing her teeth, so we feed her baby food for the last year, she was Jim's best friend, laying with him when she knew he was too sick to get out of bed. We watched her decline these past few weeks, trying not to to think about having to put her down, she was probably 18 years old and finally Jim took in her to put her to sleep, she crawled up his arm and took her last breath in his ear. We are heartbroken, she meant so much to both of us, especially Jim.
