Too Pink Strippy Quilt
I finished the stitching and hand appliqueing the "Too Pink Strippy Quilt" as I'm calling it for now. Needle turn applique. Thinking it needs to be aged just a little. It's screaming pink.
Sure looks good to me just the way it is. I don't see pink. But I know you have an incredible eye for prim and I want to see what you do with it to give it just the right touch! Kathy
Oh be still my heart. I love it! I am not a horse person but for some reason I like them done in applique. Was this something you created or a pattern idea?
What a beautiful quilt. It brings back memories of when I live in Montana and ride horses there.

ReplyDeleteThat quilt has "punch" in the best-horse-out-of-the-gate way! Awesome. Karmen
ReplyDeleteMight a little tea-dyeing or coffee-dyeing tone down that pinkness enough?
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt! Love all the fabrics you put in it and the horses are beautiful. I like it just the way it is!!!
