Recipe for Friendship
My progress on the little panel I'm making for my nursing friend who is retiring, got it all machine quilted today and will finish the binding tomorrow. Just a little panel from Mary Engelbreit called Recipe for Friendship, will suit Karen so well. Always planning a birthday party for one of us, making us feel guilty in a good way if we do not want to go. Donating her time overseas to charity work and bringing us trinkets from where she has been, and she's 72! I should have made one big quilt with the numbers, maybe I will put a big appliqued 72 on the back.

Glad you made a quilt for a nursing friend retiring! My mom was a nurse for over 50 years and then continued on to be a visiting 'sitter' as a retired nurse until she died this year at age 83~ My husband just became a nurse at the age of 57.5 yrs old! They are special people~
