With cooler temps and snow at the higher elevations...finally.
This is the last of my ground squirrels to still be out and about.
Packing on the pounds for a long hibernation underground, up to 6 months or longer.

Such sweet creatures.
Curious enough to almost become tame if I wanted.
I'll see their happy faces next Spring.
They certainly fill their little mouths as full as they can LOL .. total cuteness
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute, I haven't seen any squirrels or chipmunks lately, wonder if the hawks got them. In NH, the red squirrels were busy collecting and they had acorns that were half their size, lol.
