Well, I was minding my own business...enjoying my morning snack,
This big, mean Squirrel came up to me,
poking his fist in my face and tried to take my peanut...
I went like this and tried to land a punch...
But then he came at me like this with his claws...
He scratched me right there...
Mum kissed it and made it better.
I'm glad you're okay, aren't Moms the best.
what a brute...glad Mom was there to fix you up

ReplyDeleteP.S. My Primitive Quilt magazine arrived this past weekend and your Primitive Peels quilt is just so beautiful - I guess I can't see as well as I used to so I missed the detail of the background fabric you used until I saw it in the magazine. Beautiful job!

ReplyDeleteThe first few "narrated" critter stories I read here were hilarious and oh so fitting. What an imaginative story teller you are! Now, however, I think they really do just talk to you :-). Love your PQ quilt!

ReplyDeleteAdorable! The pictures and the story.
