Primitive Strips

I've been making a strip quilt using my vintage Brannock and Patek fabrics.

Inspired by this 1930 African American quilt from the book, The Ultimate Quilting Book by Maggie McCormick Gordon.

I have several more sections to add before finishing with the same type red borders.

  9. Very innovative. I got out my Blackbird Designs scraps just the other day wondering if I could put them all together creatively. This looks like it is a lot of fun.
