It's great to have the fourth row completed for my Emily Munroe Quilt.
I've been looking at a book on Ebay called Massachusetts Quilt, Our Common Wealth in the hopes of obtaining a little more history on this quilt.
A close-up of the lime green block. I absolutely love the little birds. Some of the flowers and the birds are crudely stitched on purpose with a contrasting wool thread for a primitive look.
Every time I see this I think it is really a lovely quilt, how many more blocks?
ReplyDeletedear nancy, your blocks are great,i love those diffrent backgrounds, have a nice week, susi
ReplyDeleteLooking Really Good! Has the snow gone?
ReplyDeleteI have that book! This quilt and Emily are featured on pages 50-53. Check your library, maybe they have the book for you to look at before you buy.
