A few pictures to show on my progress on The Emily Munroe Quilt. All the backgrounds are wool with wool applique. The blocks are 10" square.
I love the quirkiness of this block with all the stems flowing out of a very small patch of green.
Emily used a gold wool for many of these primitive pots that are seen all through the quilt with the same white couching along the edges.
dear nancy,soooo lovely...,have a nice week,susi
ReplyDeleteNancy, your blocks are looking lovely. Love the special effort you are putting into them.
ReplyDeleteLove the posies with the small bit of grass!
So pretty and your work is awesome.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty with lots of texture and interest. The pops of color are vibrant. An heirloom in the making.
ReplyDeleteEvery time you post new photos, I look and think, "that's my favorite block". It always changes! Right now it is the one in the very center of the bottom row! But that one with the tree lying on the table to the left is pulling at my heart strings! Thanks so much for sharing, I'm amazed at the beauty of this quilt!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely. There is so much work to each block.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are just amazing! Also, I loved your earlier post of the deer that lost its' antler - I had wondered when deer typically lose their antlers, and now I know! It is a great picture.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely quilt, beautiful work.
