I've been lucky enough to have a flock of Western Tanagers hanging out for a week now.
Usually they pass through on their way to somewhere else.
They love the suet that I hung for the woodpeckers.
Their yellow feathers are shockingly bright and beautiful.
When I saw at least a dozen of them the other day, thought I better hang a few more suet feeders.
I'm having to practice my bird photography, haven't done that much lately.

They are just beautiful. Thank you for sharing

ReplyDeleteNancy, your bird pictures are so beautiful. I wish those birds were in my neighborhood, but don't think they are in north Georgia. Is it possible to use one of them on a postcard, not for sale or anything but just for personal use?
ReplyDeleteYour wildlife photos are so incredibly enjoyable Nancy - thank you for sharing them.
