Wool Applique
A look at the wool applique and embellishment that I am stitching for a hat and a purse. I love the look of black wool for a background, but what I don't love about it, it shows every little hair and misplaced thread.
I have that problem with a lot of my wools, especially when I wash them together, which isn't smart. I just wait till I am done and then pick off the hairs;)
I will look forward to seeing the finished hat. Are you going to make a tutorial, I would love one for myself, it would brighten up my bad hair days. Hugs, Angela.
I love your hats. Just wish I wore one so I could purchase one from you. They look so special.
ReplyDelete*pshaw* It's all just part of the 'folk art charm' ;-)
ReplyDeleteoh nancy by looking at your awesome quilting i doubt you have too many missplaced threads, cat hairs maybe threads no....
ReplyDeleteI'm with Libby. The hairs just add some more 'primitive' to the finished product.
ReplyDeleteHey Nancy, where do you get your wool? I need some more.
