The Start of a New Prim quilt
The start of a new prim quilt. A strippy background of the Together line from Brannock and Patek and a bold red striped brushed cotton for the borders. Needs huge applique to make it work.
oh I think if you quilted it with pearle cotton utility stitch, just lines thru the strips of fabric and then did a border design or maybe wildlife images in the red border in black perhaps how fun would that be? bears, birds, a cat or two! trees, eagle... I have wanted to make a quilt where I just keep sewing strips together too. love your fabric choices here....just so me! Kathie
I love different coloured backgrounds. The colours of this one makes me think of Christmas. Have you decided what you are going to do?

Bautiful fabrics and you've laid a lovely ground.
ReplyDeleteA fun new quilt that will tell you what it wants next ;-)
You could always leave it just stripey without applique. Nice way to combine those lovely fabrics.
