Sea Grass

First time I have ever used this speciality thread, sea grass, I love it.  Love the look, the matte look of the stitch and the ease of stitching with it.  It came from Sue Spargo with her kit for her BOM Imperial Blooms.  It comes in all kinds of colors, even black.  I can see using it when you don't want that gloss look of perle cotton, like on prim projects.

  1. When I went to Sue's workshop I bought a lot of her ribbons, beads and threads. They are all wonderful to work with and give a great result. Love your latest block.

  2. Hello Nancy,

I am new to your Lovely Blog.

Your BOM flower is very pretty. You are doing a great job of stitching on them. I have bought some sea grass but not used it yet.

Has Autumn arrive in Montana yet??? Your state is ever sooo very beautiful.

    Hugs Judy

  3. This is wonderful! I used it on one of the earlier blocks. That is one of the things I like about doing the BOM - I am getting exposed to a lot of things I would probably not try.
