2011 BOM by Sue Spargo
This is Sue's line drawing of her 2011 BOM, I'm on the fence on what to do, but the idea of learning 44 new embellishment stitches that we've all seen on her blog and receive the speciality threads, and 200 have already signed up. My head hurts from thinking about it.

You've changed the photo of the bear. He's watching you too! and looks as if he's ready to pounce!
ReplyDeleteI hope you were far enough away.
I know what you mean about next years BoM from Sue. I haven't caught up with this years yet and I would so love to do the new one, but I just keep thinking that it's a lot of money to have it sitting there for goodness knows how long..! Yep, I've got a headache thinking about it too...

Me too - once I got the email I kept tossing the idea around but the cost is crazy. But I know her materials are the best and well worth the price. But I want to go to New York City next year. But, but, but - why is it so hard?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a beautiful quilt, would love to see it finished.

Firstly....Love the new bear pic! I love your neighborhood :-)
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I haven't seen Sue's site pic yet but this line drawing looks pretty interesting. I can see toutquoise in the background and oranges and golds in the flowers. It is a big investment of time and money...hope the answer comes easy for you. I know we can all get drawn in over our heads...it's just that it all comes out so purty :-)
I've felt the same way . . . . I love Sue's stuff. But I don't think I can spend that kind of money right now on that. But it is beautiful . . . decisions, decisions . . .
ReplyDeleteWow is this cool looking though!
