Yo Yo Quilt
After seeing Laura's pictures of yo yo quilts and pillows I wanted to share this one made by Jim's Grandmother, it's huge and we use it as a headboard for his bed, can you imagine making this many yo yo's.
Wow, that's a LOT of yo-yos. I haven't made my first one yet but keep going back to the book that Jeanne referenced thinking that I want to do one...and also the wool pieces in that book. :)
Ha -- that many yoyos is mind-boggling!
ReplyDeleteThere's a funny paragraph in the Blackbird Designs book, Lovina's Pressed Flowers, about making yoyos. And the supply list is:
*Scraps of fabric
*Lots of patience
So far, I have a yoyo MAT, maybe 120 or so yoyos. Someday, if I live long enough, it may reach coverlet size.
Jeanne :)
